Spending the last six months building my blog, and studying other blogs, there are definitely 5 Contentl Tips that I have learned about blogging success! No matter what else I do, these common themes always stand and bite me!
This to me is the most important piece of the puzzle. Those new to blogging may not realize the daily time commitment needed to make a blog successful. You have to set time aside to take care of the fundamentals, if your blog is going to grow. Remember no pain no gain! As with any project there are only so many hours in a day, so schedule accordingly.
This has been very successful for me, as i am always trying to improve my rankings with Google. Why?, because the higher your ranking the more search traffic to your site – that simple! There is really no shortcut around building the best possible links to your site from other great sites in your niche. Paid traffic is a waste of time and your money, so if you want people visiting your site that are looking for what you have to say – this is a must do tip. Reaching out to other blogs, will give you a chance to see what others in your niche are doing right or wrong!
New fresh unique content will not only provides more search paths to your site, but will keep others coming back to learn more. So be sure to make your content as compelling as possible, but also correct from a grammar perspective . Spell check has saved my bacon many times over. The quality of the content and how often published will determine your blog’s growth. Content is king – hands down!
Building Your Community
All the best websites seem to be built around a community of loyal readers. They are a great place to find what people are talking about around the web. The top bloggers take the time to respond to what their reader have to say good or bad. Building loyal readers that share, link to and discuss your content is crucial to not only your blogs growth, but your personal growth too. Reaching out to other blogs is a big part to letting the world know about your blog and will create back links back to your site.
If you don’t have any other skill about your topic or niche, you better have dedication to learning the basics and beyond. Passion brings personality – and that makes your blog unique. No one wants to read a boring blog! How much enthusiasm you have about a subject can be felt by your readers, and tends to spread your content from one person to the next.
